Happy Friday Eve and Happy Thankful Thursday. September has arrived and August 2022 is in the books. It’s time for some cooler weather, sweatshirts, college football, holiday decor up in the stores with the appropriate music accompanying and pumpkin-spiced everything (hard pass on that one). But for today, a three-day weekend is just a day away! Happy Thankful Thursday indeed.
I was not able to get my Botox yesterday for a few reasons:
#1 - the hospital sent the prescription to my insurance company instead of the special pharmacy it needs to go to. Not sure why they did that. They sent to the pharmacy the last three times. But no worries, everybody makes mistakes - I know I do and I am sure (whomever is reading this) you have as well. So, it did not arrive in time for my appointment. They are rescheduling me. Glad I called before I went to the hospital for my appointment. I have PLEX tomorrow so that should help my legs a bit.
#2 - my insurance initially denied the prescription because my doctor increased the dosage. So, the hospital is appealing the decision to my insurance company to get the remaining Botox sent. They finally sent the dosage I got last time - not the new requested amount.
So as you can see, yesterday was filled with a few minor setbacks and disappointments, but not to worry. I will soon get the Botox my legs so desperately need and they will look younger and smoother than ever before (I know, not the point). I was able to take solace last night by watching the Real Housewives of Dubai Reunion, Part 1.
Yes, Season 1 is over (sadly) and the reunion, while nice, was a little beige. I think the real catty comments and catfights begin next week in part 2. For once, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was more exciting). Stay tuned…
Just a few meetings today and hopefully a lot of work will get accomplished. Happy September 1, Happy Friday Eve and Happy Thankful Thursday.
