Happy Weekend. I am so glad it is Saturday. I am sure you are as well. Who doesn’t love the weekend? TAX FREE weekend is the name of the game here in Texas. Back-to-School shopping is full force. But just you wait. College Football will reign supreme on the weekends after which will take us through the Fall.
I had PLEX yesterday which went OK. My body was being cranky and did not want to cooperate so it took a bit longer than usual. They drew blood to check my lymphocyte level and they are up slightly. Not nearly high enough to receive the chemotherapy I need - so I’ll just keep plugging along until that number gets to where it needs to be. That’s all I can do. I am sure my Neurologist will call on Monday after she sees the test results. She was on vacation yesterday.
However, no time to dwell on that stuff today. Today is the first day of Relaxation Weekend, Part 1 - head shaved, beard trimmed, ears waxed, eyebrows shaped and a mani/pedi - probably followed by an afternoon nap. I may even turn my phone off - or let's just say from 10am to 3pm, don't call me unless you're herrmorrhaging or on fire. Too much? LOL
