Good Morning, Possums, from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. Today is Monday, August 22. It’s going to be a rainy, cloudy day in Dallas today with a high of 79 degrees. It looks like we have a pretty decent chance for rain / thunderstorms all day today.
No Birthdays on my calendar today.
I am alive. Today is the first day I have woken up since chemo that I didn’t want to beat my head against the wall or drive a nail through my forehead. The majority of the nausea has subsided, Thank God! There are still remnants here and there only to remind me whom is in charge, but for the most part, I think I am about 70% back to normal. Let’s see how the day plays out.
Mom and Dad have been a huge help. I am so glad they were able to come out here and assist me. Now it’s time to get back to it - go through as mound of email and get busy with work. Until then, I think I may crawl back into bed and sleep another hour or so. I only woke up to take my meds.
