Happy Friday Eve, everyone. It’s almost the weekend and Mom and Dad will be here on Saturday for a visit. I am very glad they can come back out. Chemo knocked me on my butt for a solid week last time. I don’t know if your body gets used to the poison running through your veins or what? I guess I am going to find out - LOL.
I am going to work until 9:45am and then head to the infusion center for round #2. Chemo will take around 4 hours and then back home. The only thing I remember from last time is the few days after…it wasn’t pretty.
Regardless, I can take it. I am blessed to have access to treatment at all and to have a neurologist who genuinely cares about me and listens to me…except when I tell her I hate MRIs and she schedules one for September anyway. I think she may even have enjoyed it a little. LOL
Happy Friday Eve, er’body. Let’s do this. There’s good stuff happening today: we are going to get a little rain, I get to watch the Price is Right in a nice recliner, my immune system is going to get a hard reboot…and it’s a great day to beat down Multiple Sclerosis, kick it to the curb and give me little relief in the process.
