It’s Marvelous Monday and time to kick off another work week. It’s half way through the month of August as well which means the Holiday season will begin creeping into our daily lives…if it hasn’t already. Oh sure, we’ve got things going on like back to school events, college football, professional football, the US Open and holidays like Labor Day, Halloween, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Columbus Day to look forward to. However, we’ve already had ‘Christmas in July’ on Hallmark (for all the hardcore folks) so it’s just a matter of time.
I wouldn’t mind some cooler temperatures but I’m in no hurry to rush through everything just to get to Christmas. However, I know I will be glad when it gets here.
My neurologist emailed me yesterday to let me know she saw my blood test from Friday and noticed my elevated lymphocyte levels - YAY! She is sending the infusion center a note first thing this morning to get me scheduled ASAP for my next round of chemotherapy. I am going to be anxiously awaiting that phone call today. It sure would be nice to get it in this week - that’s what I am praying for - any day this week.
No meetings on my calendar today so I am looking forward to getting some work completed.
