Well, I thought I would be headed to the infusion center to get pumped full of poison for four hours but plans have changed. My Neurologist called yesterday evening and said my lymphocyte count was too low (600) fo chemotherapy so we are postponing round #2 until next week. It needs to be somewhere in the 800-1000 range.
Am I disappointed? Yes and no. Yes, because chemotherapy seems to be working. And no, because I will not miss how sick and nauseous it makes me.
So I guess I will have a full day at work and that’s OK too. So, I better get crack’in.
