It’s Monday and time to kick off another work week (for some). For others, it’s our newest holiday - Juneteenth (which was actually yesterday). I fall into the later group.
Today I want to give a special Birthday Shout Out to one person in particular - Roger R Carbajal. I have known Roger since I moved to Dallas in 1995. He is one of my BEST friends. Roger is a stand-up guy and has been there with me through the good and the bad; most recently all of this MS crap. He is understanding, supportive and if you don’t have a besty like him, get one. Lots of love and birthday wishes, Roger. You deserve the very best.
I think I am over all of the gross chemo side effects (I hope I am not speaking too soon). Now it is just an issue of energy and getting some of that back - LOL. I haven’t slept this much in years. But I had better snap out of it. Tomorrow is a work day.
