Yes, there is a Friday. It does exist! Happy Friday / FriYAY / TGIF! Friday has arrived and none too soon. I have been waiting for Friday since last Friday which seems like a year ago. OK, maybe not a year but at least a week! LOL
No meetings this morning (yet). I’ll be heading out around noon for my Friday Afternoon Plasma Exchange which, sadly, is what I am looking forward to most today. These legs of mine are like two steel beams. They do not want to bend at all. My feet are swollen; both of them this time. They aren’t quite kankles yet, but I can tell they are working on it. And the neuropathy (which makes me feel like I could phase through any solid object) had calmed down but it is wide awake this morning and shouting “Happy Friday, Andy” at the top pf its lungs.
My neurologist did send an email yesterday. After PLEX she is ordering some blood work - YAY! She thinks there maybe something else my body is fighting off - so it is paying more attention to that which, in turn, would allow my MS symptoms to surface. I think my body has enough to do right now. Fighting something else seems a little much. Maybe it is time to mask up again!
After PLEX I am headed to a birthday Happy Hour for as long as I can. That could be five minutes or a few hours (depending on how everything goes this afternoon). I’m going to have to play it by ear.
