It’s Friday Eve and it looks to be a cloudy, possibly rainy day with a high of 46 degrees. We have cooled off quite a bit. This may explain why my body is a bit stiffer and I am moving around a bit slower today than yesterday. MS and cold do not mix. Nevertheless, I am counting my MS Blessings - they are there, oh, parking. I get good, close parking when it’s available. See? Found one!
I started executing on my birthday vacation plans yesterday and I purchased my airline ticket. It’s on! NYC, here I come. The shows/events I have selected to see are:
- Play -Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (it used to be two parts, two plays, but they have rolled it into one - Thank, God).
- Musical -Company (with Patti LuPone)
- Musical - Funny Girl
- Musical - The Music Man (with Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster)
- Baseball Game - New York Yankees vs Boston Red Sox - Possibly - still working on this one
I need to find a place for Sunday brunch. Any suggestions for Sunday brunch in NYC?
It is going to be a whole new experience seeing New York City from a wheelchair (unless, by the grace of God, I get new life in my legs).
So - busy day at work - 6 meetings and volunteering at the clinic this afternoon for a few hours.
