My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 120821

Good Morning from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek. Today is Wednesday, December 8.

Happy Birthday to:

Emma Reister
Joey Rebollar Jr.

Holiday Countdown:

13 Days until Winter Solstice
17 Days until Christmas
16 Days until Kwanzaa
24 Days until 2022

Each year on December 8th, brownie lovers across the nation enjoy one of their favorite baked goods on National Brownie Day.

In the United States, the chocolate brownie is a favorite, with the blonde brownie running a close second.  A blonde brownie is made with brown sugar and no chocolate and is often called a blondie.

Happy National Brownie Day!

It’s going to be a brisk, mostly cloudy day in Big D today, my first day of vacation, with a sad, pitiful chance of rain.

I have a list of things I need to do - laundry, clean, begin packing - I even have some work to do. I still need to do finish up my Christmas shopping as well. Actually, I need to start my Christmas shopping. Only two more days until I fly to SC for a few weeks.

I am waking pretty well; still using my roller. The PLEX combined with my new medication seems to be doing the trick. I walked in and out of the hospital yesterday instead of being wheeled in and out. However, I am going need to be wheeled to and from my gate at the airport. Walking that far just isn’t in the cards for me ….YET! Let’s just hope this gets me through the holidays (if not longer).

Next up for me is a check-up with my neurologist when I return from my holiday at home, a two and a half hour MRI, and Botox in both of my legs…….that being said, I should reach my deductible in January again this next year.

Some days I think that I should be getting the Botox in my forehead and my face to get rid of my crows feet. I should be getting collagen my lips. I am far, too young to have this many medical appointments and procedures and take this many pills.

However, these are cards I was dealt and this is the hand I have to play. But no matter how bad the cards may be, I am still in the game. I have not folded yet and have no intentions to do so. Still, MS sucks!

What’s on your schedule today?

Anyhoozle, I hope you all have a wonderful day and whatever you do today and every day, do it with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one! And as always:

...wear a mask
...be kind and compassionate to one another
...dance/sing/laugh it out. It might not help but it sure as hell couldn't hurt.

Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
