A Day in the Life of Multiple Sclerosis 110321

Good Morning from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek. Today is Wednesday, November 3.
Happy Birthday to:
Gotta kick off today by saying,
CONGRATULATIONS
, ATLANTA BRAVES -WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS! Nicely done!

Next, today is National Sandwich Day which recognizes one of America’s favorite lunch items.
The sandwich is believed to be the namesake of John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich, following the claim that he was the inventor of the sandwich. No matter who invented it, we celebrate every kind of sandwich.
The rumor is that bread and meat sustained Lord Sandwich at the gambling table. It is said that Lord Sandwich was a very conversant gambler and did not take the time to have a meal during his long hours playing at the card table. When hungry, he would ask his servants to bring him slices of meat between two slices of bread. This practice was a habit that was well known to his gambling friends who soon began to order “the same as Sandwich,” and from this, the sandwich was born.
There you go - Happy National Sandwich Day!

It’s going to be a chilly, rainy day in Big D today. I am heading into the office for a half day for some meetings but mainly because I am losing a valued, highly-skilled and well-loved member of my team today. I am just sick about it, but the situation is out of my hands.
I am ready for my Friday Morning Warm Blanket (or Warm Blanket Fridays) / Plasma Exchange. All of this stress is doing a number on me and my MS. I can tell because the normal tingling and numbness I typically wake up with is more pronounced than it usually is and covers more of my arms and legs.
What is on your schedule today?
Anyhoozle, I hope you all have a wonderful day and whatever you do today and every day, do it with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one! And as always:
...wear a mask
...be kind and compassionate to one another
...dance/sing/laugh it out. It might not help but it sure as hell couldn't hurt.
Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
