Today is National Mulligan Day. In golf, a mulligan happens when a player gets a second chance to perform a specific move or action. The day offers an opportunity for giving yourself a second chance or, as some people call it, a “do-over.”
We can all think of something that at one point in time, we have said, “I wish I could do that over.” Celebrate the day by taking your do-over. Also, be considerate and offer a Mulligan to family and friends and neighbors out there. We all deserve it at one time or another.
Happy National Mulligan Day!
Yesterday was GREAT! I got to hang out with my Besties - it was a gorgeous day to be outside - and I am just so incredibly blessed to have these friends - the way they watch out for me and help me - as dysfunctional as my relationship with God is right now, I know he blessed me by putting these people in my life.
My MS seems to be under control (knock on wood) for now. I have moments here and there - mornings are the absolute worst - but I am not in any pain and can get around fairly well. I drove myself and ran all my errands on Friday. I am still not ready to drive to work - that gives me anxiety. Driving a few blocks around my neighborhood is quite different than hopping on 75 for 18 miles. I'll get there......just not now.
Well, it’s Sunday - that means church and time to get ready for another work week. It’s going to be a fairly busy week at work as well. It’s going to be a partly cloudy day in Big D and temps going back up into the 80’s.
What are your plans today?
Come join us for church this morning at 11am at Oak Lawn United Methodist Church (or online on Facebook Live). All are welcome at OLUMC.
Anyhoozle, I hope you all have a wonderful day and whatever you do today and every day, do it with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one! And as always:
...wear a mask
...be kind and compassionate to one another
...dance/sing/laugh it out. It might not help but it sure as hell couldn't hurt.
Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
