My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 083023

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek. Today is Wednesday, August 30 and the high temperature is going to be 97 degrees today - AGAIN!

Happy Birthday to:

Bill Deramus

Good Morning, Possums and Happy Wednesday and Happy Hump Day. We made it talk way through the week.

It’s been a busy morning. My best Gal Pal, Sallie Ann Plaxico , picked me up at 7:45am. We proceeded to Lucky’s for a tasty breakfast before heading to my Neurologists appointment.

My appointment went very well - good news all around:

-My MRI (the one I had in June) was like night and day from the one I had in December. I think we may have found a drug that will work on me (until they find a cure). HUGE sigh of relief!

-I have another MRI in December.

-Starting back to having PLEX every week instead of every two weeks.

-She requested a consultation with Pulmonology to see if there is anything I can do about the ‘Kankles’ / faulty valve in my leg. Stay tuned.

-Trying figure out how I can get on Ozempka and insurance would approve. Stay tuned.

All good stuff, right? There was one thing that made me sad. The item that hurt the most is:

-I am still on the list of top ten problem children just not #1 anymore. I am OK with because she said I am still in the top 3 AND I would never be off that list.

In other news:

Wheelchair Status -My new wheelchair is scheduled to arrive at my casa on 10/4. One more month in my current deathtrap.

SSA Case Status - Up from 19% to 22% Complete
Supplemental SSA - Up from 9% to 14% Complete

Kankle News - I have one kankle.

Podcast - running our first test on Thursday

Anyhoozle, that’s all I have for today. I hope you all have a GREAT day!

Whatever your day holds and whatever your plans may be, I wish you all a SPECTACULAR day. Do everything today with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one!

To all of my fellow MS Warriors, keep fighting the good fight. And to all MS Warrior Supporters, Thank You! Your support means everything.

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 082923

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek. Today is Tuesday, August 29 and the high temperature is going to be 97 degrees today. Why, it’s downright chilly. Somebody grab my shawl.

Happy Belated Birthday to:

Clara Jones
Shannon Wherry
Steve Chan

Happy Birthday to:

Kimberly Julian Arnold
David Watson
Thomasea Hall

Good Afternoon, Possums and Happy Tuesday. I hope that your week has started off well. Mine is and continues to be ‘all doctors and procedures, all the time.’

Yesterday, it was time for new Botox in my legs. I completely adore this doctor. Not only is she beautiful, funny, relatable and so easy to talk to, but she is the one that got insurance to cover my wheelchair.
Also, I told her that I had won $500 worth of facial Botox and she suggested I get it around the same time as my next leg Botox appointment. OMG - I am going to look so young in NYC and at home for holidays. LOL

I met with my GP today. Nothing major - just more of a ‘knowledge transfer’ - keeping him updated.

Tomorrow is my appointment with my neurologist. If I have ever listened to and liked a doctor, it’s her. The way that she looks out for her patients (I can only speak for me) is incredible. While I may not like her choice of treatment (steroids), I know it’s for the best.

Mom and Dad arrive one week from today. Hope the temperature remains under 110 degrees for their visit, but it’s not looking good.

In other news:

Wheelchair Status -My new wheelchair is scheduled to arrive at my casa on 10/4. One more month in my current deathtrap.

SSA Case Status - Up from 19% to 22% Complete
Supplemental SSA - Up from 9% to 14% Complete

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 082623

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek. Today is Saturday, August 26 and it his going to be 104 degrees today - but I am hearing that a cool down into the 90’s is on the way.

Happy Belated Birthday to:

Betsy Haynes Winchip
RJ Ochoa
Gary Walden
Rusty Debetaz

Happy Birthday to:

Jane Scott Sherer
Megan Karpa Kiely
Paul DiFrancesco
Selso Sifuentes

Good Morning, Possums and Happy Saturday and Happy Weekend. I cannot believe the weekend is finally here.

Most of my friends have left town for a softball tournament and will be gone through next weekend. However, I still have a few in town to help me out this week. My friend, Carol Margo Stanners, is picking up me in a bit to run a few errands and pick up some prescriptions. She would only do it if I let her clean out my fridge after. WTH? Fine - you go girl. LOL. I’m going to need to prop up my feet. They are swelling (both of them) and it’s pissing me off. Maybe I need valves in both legs repaired.

This week is full off appointments as well: Botox (in my legs) on Monday, appointment with my GP on Tuesday, appointment with my neurologist on Wednesday (my Best Gal Pal ( Sallie Ann Plaxico ) is going with me to this one. I need somebody to take notes to take notes at this appointment), PLEX on Thursday, Boardroom and mani/pedi on Friday, and on Saturday, I shall rest. Mom and Dad will be here the following Tuesday.

It’s going to be September next week. How did that happen? Where did August go?

Also - this week I have had so many random thoughts go threw my mind like - I need a new Will. Has anyone ever used an online or digital program to create a new will? I am taking suggestions and making requests. I need to make a some changes to my current one, for instance, Oprah is OUT! We don’t talk anymore. She knows what she did! (Kidding)

Also, if I get cremated, and I do not get a marker, how will anyone know I was here or who I was?

It wasn’t all ‘death and dying’ random thoughts - that’s just what comes to mind right now.

Personally, I blame the steroids. I am taking a larger dose than I thought I was (I actually read the bottle yesterday). I never really look at the dose because I trust my neurologist implicitly.

Luckily, I have had only one MAJOR mood swing. Mostly, it’s just been little frustrations that come and go quickly…and the use of a few ‘colorful metaphors’ here and there, but saying those is more cathartic.

In other news:

Wheelchair Status -My new wheelchair is scheduled to arrive at my casa on 10/4. One more month in my current deathtrap.

SSA Case Status - Up from 19% to 22% Complete
Supplemental SSA - Up from 9% to 13% Complete

Kankle News - discussed earlier - but I have two kankles.

Podcast - I may have a test today or tomorrow - just to get a feel of how the recording may go. Still working on weekly topics and lining up guests for Season 1.
Anyhoozle, that’s all I have for today. I hope you all have a GREAT day!

Whatever your day holds and whatever your plans may be, I wish you all a SPECTACULAR day. Do everything today with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one!

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 082323

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek. Today is Wednesday, August 23 it’s 104 degrees.

Happy Birthday to:

Brian Adams
Chip Anderson
Debbie Garrick
Steven Sykes

Good Afternoon, Possums and Happy Wednesday and Happy Hump Day. We made it half way through the week.

This week has been pretty busy and next week is full of doctor appointments. The next week mom and dad arrive (after Labor Day) and they will be here for a week.

I have been keeping busy working on a schedule and content for the first season of our podcast. It’s a lot of work - but I like it. Why have I not done this sooner? Well money…..I like buying things and so far, this podcast hasn’t paid me a dime.

These steroids are killing me. My sleep is minimal and it sucks. However, late night commercials are teaching a great deal about prescription drugs (doctors hate those commercials) and, most importantly, this morning at 3am I learned that women poop. Yep…..a woman sitting on a toilet flashed up on TV and said, “Girl, you poop.” Who knew?

I question a lot of commercial content these days but now I know why so much of it is relegated to late night viewers - important or not!

Our December NYC trip is coming together. I can’t wait to get there to see the city during there holidays, take in a few shows with my friends, and spend a little time with my NY/NJ BOO, Adrienne.

In other news:

Wheelchair Status -My new wheelchair is scheduled to arrive at my casa on 10/4. One more month in my current deathtrap.

SSA Case Status - Up from 19% to 21% Complete
Supplemental SSA - Up from 9% to 12% Complete

Kankle News - I have nothing but a kankle on my left foot today. I hate having a kankle but I guess that valve does not want to do its job. No matter. When I see my neurologist next week I will consult with her on what we need to do - my guess is a little outpatient surgery is in order. Stay tuned…

Anyhoozle, that’s all I have for today. I hope you all have a GREAT day!

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 081923

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek. Today is Saturday, August 19 and it’s ridiculously hot.

Happy Birthday to:

Andrea Jimenez
Joey Brock

Good Morning, Possums and Happy Saturday. It’s gonna be a scorcher today and for the next week. Who pissed off Mother Nature? I vote for Ted Cruz.

PLEX went well yesterday. I was in and out in two hours. I wasn’t did feel drained after the procedure (because I slept the entire time) so I met my friends out for a little bit. It was fun but the number of places that “THINK” they are accessible is laughable. I plan to address this on one of our podcasts.

Speaking of podcasts…my two cohosts and I have been talking about doing this for years (more than 5). We even had the name all picked out. It’s not that current name. So, before we launch, we may switch it to the original name. It may offend some folks, but we all think it’s funny as all get out. Stay tuned.

Ticket assignments have gone out - whom is purchasing tickets for which show in NYC in December. It’s nice to check that off my list.

My kankle is alive and well. I need to prop out up. I was told yesterday that my neurologist will prepay refer me top someone to repair my faulty valve. MS wasn’t enough - I had to have a faulty valve as well. LOL

I am blessed.

Anyhoozle, that’s all I have for today. I hope you all have a GREAT day!

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 081823

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek. Today is Friday, August 18.

The heat is back. The high today is 110 degrees. We are going to remain over 100 for at least the next ten days (so says the weather forecast).

Happy Belated Birthday to:

Chris Prater
Don Finch
Janet Foster

Happy Birthday to:

James Bonar
Laura Lea Day

Good Morning, Possums and Happy Friday / FriYAY / TGIF and Happy Weekend. The work week is done. I’m good with that.

Today is not a busy day so much as it is an exhausting day. I have plasma exchange (PLEX) at noon. That will more than likely wear me out until tomorrow. However, I get to see my friends in Apheresis at UTSW. I don’t mind hanging out with them for a few hours today. They’re good people and I’ve been hanging with them on Fridays for the last two years! If I’m lucky, I’ll get a great nap in as well.

No plans this weekend except to remain out of the heat tomorrow (109 degrees tomorrow). I will probably work on the podcast schedule some - getting guests and topics organized and recording dates assigned, but I’m just gonna stick a pin in that until tomorrow.

Anyhoozle, that’s all I have for today. I hope you all have a GREAT day!

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 081623

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek. Today is Wednesday, August 16.

Keep the heat on, Possums, at least through the night. The cold front remains in Dallas through today. The high today is 96 degrees. However, tomorrow we are back up to 108. Uuuuugggghhhhhh! And we will remain over 100 degrees for the next TEN DAYS.

Happy Birthday to:

Calvin Ku
Katie Phan Simon
Mike Cline

Good Afternoon, Possums and Happy Wednesday and Happy Hump Day - we made it half way through the week. Is this week creeping along or is it just me? I have been quite busy - taking care of this and that - but time seems to be moving slowly.

I think it’s time to visit the eye doctor. A new, stronger prescription is in order. But I am not a fan of the eye doctor or putting anything near my eyes. And all the tests and the eye drops? No thank you.

However, if it wasn’t for my (then) eye doctor sending me to the emergency room (and my Bestie, Roger R Carbajal, making me go) my MS might have gone undetected for a while longer. It all started in my right eye with what I thought (self diagnosis via google search and WEB MD) was cataracts. Turns out, it wasn’t cataracts. After all those years of watching ER, Grey’s Anatomy and even Scrubs, my personal diagnosis was way off. But I digress…

But back to glasses…picking out the frames is fun. I still have a gift card I won in a silent auction for $250 (I bid $30 or $40) for designer fames. Field Trip!

In other news:

Wheelchair Status - I checked online and a new tab has been added (it’s a good thing). The Tab is labeled “Equip Ordered” and it says:

“Your order has been approved by your insurance provider or funding source. Your Numotion team has now placed an order to purchase the necessary components for your order. Once we receive the equipment, we will begin assembly and contact you to confirm delivery information.”

I finally have confirmation that Insurance has covered he cost of my new wheelchair. YAY!!!

SSA Case Status - Up from 18% to 19% Complete
Supplemental SSA - Up from 9% to 10% Complete

Kankle News -I have a right ankle/foot and mostly a left ankle/foot but it feels like it could blow up at any moment. Call me crazy but I think that faulty valve is just messing with me. It pumps the blood to my heart when it wants to and only then.

Podcast - waiting to meet with my cohosts. Yesterday, I made a spreadsheet and started laying out the episodes, segments and confirming guests/topics. Pardon my French, but Merde is getting real. Stay tuned.

For any new Possums joining in, I know this is a lot to read through and it may seem like rambling (it is sometimes - I blame the meds), but I am documenting my journey with MS so anyone else with MS that stumbles upon this knows they are NOT alone.

Anyhoozle, that’s all I have for today. I hope you all have a GREAT day!

Whatever your day holds and whatever your plans may be, I wish you all a SPECTACULAR day. Do everything today with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one!

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 081523

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek. Today is Tuesday, August 15.

Clutch your pearls and turn on the heat. A cold front is blowing through Dallas. The temperature has fallen. The high today and tomorrow is 96 degrees. Mother Nature has granted a few days of relief, but then on Thursday, she is going to bitch-slap us back to 108 degrees. Uuuuugggghhhhhh!

Happy Belated Birthday to:

Shiloh Shannon

Happy Birthday to:

Bryan Grant
Gus Klein
Matt Wayne Miller
Stephen Kent Soliz
Vance Kirksey

Good Morning, Possums and Happy Tuesday. It feels like it should be Friday (to me at least). Yesterday was a long day (again, to me).

The weekend was good. Sunday was a mess. I met some friends out Sunday afternoon. We played pool - well, they played pool and I commented on their pool-playing-skills from the sidelines.

These two individuals, none of us knew them, played two of my friends. They were very nice. One of them approached me and we exchanged pleasantries. That was fine and all. I got the question (which I sometimes do), “So what happed?” (Referring to my wheelchair) and I replied that I have Multiple Sclerosis. And then it happened. I was the recipient of the following,

“Oh, I am so sorry.”

I have no idea what came over me, but my blood started to boil. All I could think about doing was standing up and punching this moron in the face. Unfortunately, standing is not really an option for me. In my head I kept yelling, “Do not feel sorry for me. I’m NOT a victim. Do not look at me that way!”

It was those words - “I am so sorry” accompanied by that look of pity and charity. It could have been, and probably was, more of a look of compassion and warmth, but my brain went in the opposite direction. I know now that I completely overreacted (in my head) but I couldn’t help it.

I knew at that point, it was time for me to politely excuse myself and head home. So I did.

I got home and cooled off and relaxed. I went into the kitchen to take my nighttime pills. I started getting my plethora of medication out (seven - I take seven pills at night) and as got them out, it was at that very moment I realized…… I FINALLY HAD ONE….those steroids had performed as promised. Those steroids delivered like Domino’s (Pizza). I had a HEFTHY MOOD SWING!! And boy, it was a good one. It was also exhausting.

Fortunately, I handled it with grace and aplomb and no one was the wiser (I hope). But golly, that was a good one.

I am blessed with MS and steroids (for the time being).

In other news:

Wheelchair status: Assembly

SSD Status: 19% complete

SSI Status: 10% complete

Kankle News: half a kankle on my left foot. Normal right foot.

Anyhoozle, that’s all I have for today. I hope you all have a GREAT day!

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 081323

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,

Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek.  Today is Sunday, August 13.

The high today is 105 degrees.  I get it.  Texas has somehow pissed off Mother Nature (Texas pisses a lot of people {including imaginary deities} off a great deal), but come on already.

No birthdays on my calendar today.

Good Morning, Possums and Happy Sunday.  It is the first day of a new week.  I’ve been siting here at my computer, ordering my groceries and making my ‘To Do’ list for the week.  It is rather redundant but a few new things popped up on it so that’s mixes things up a bit.

How did I work and do all of these other things (the majority of which are a direct result of having MS).  I tell you - having a chronic/debilitating disease takes a lot of time.  It is almost another full-time job.  No - it is another full-time job.  And…it not only affects me, but the family and friends in my life who help me and pray for me.

I belong to a group (not on the Facebook) for people with MS.  While it can be a bit depressing and sometimes the same people do nothing but complain, I am reminded daily - sometimes hourly - when I read their entries just how fortunate and blessed I am.

As usual, I had a terrific time at lunch with my friends and I had a delicious margarita.  We laughed and caught up with everything and everyone.  And I believe I may have corralled another guest speaker or two for the podcast.  The schedule is filling in nicely - and that’s a good thing.

I am working up to doing laundry - it’s a process - and it will probably take another cup of coffee.  Church, on the other hand, just requires my computer and my attention.  Time to get started.

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 081223

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek. Today is Saturday, August 12.

The high today is 107 degrees - enough is enough!

Happy Belated Birthday to:

Jimmie Williamson

Happy Birthday to:

Andre Good

Good Morning, Possums and Happy Saturday. It is the weekend. From the inside and in the air conditioning it looks gorgeous outside. But stepping outside is not advised. Spontaneous combustion and melting are possible if you are outside long enough. Plus the air quality sucks.

On today’s agenda - I’m excited to go to lunch and spend some time this afternoon with a few former colleagues (not from this last job) and friends I don’t see that often. But when we get together, we catch up and laugh a majority of the time. They have also been big supporters of mine through this whole MS nonsense/inconvenience so they are pretty special to me as well.

I think there may be margaritas in my future - actually, I think there may be a mango margarita in my future…possibly two!

Wheelchair Status - ASSEMBLE (still pending status change online).

SSA Case Status - Up from 17% to 18% Complete
Supplemental SSA - 9% Complete

Kankle News - I have a left foot today but I am not at all confident it will stay that way. The faulty valve must work when I prop my foot up. All of this makes no sense to me and this why I’ll be having two margaritas!

Podcast - waiting to meet with my cohosts and still planning each episode but things are coming along nicely.

Anyhoozle, that’s all I have for today. I hope you all have a GREAT weekend!

Whatever your day holds and whatever your plans may be, I wish you all a SPECTACULAR day. Do everything today with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one!

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 081023

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek. Today is Thursday, August 10.

The high today is 105 degrees and a heat index of HELL.

Happy Birthday to:

Cleo Kathryn Gorman
Brian Wheeler

Good Late Morning, Possums and Happy Thursday / Friday Eve. I hope your day is going well. Mine is good so far.

It does not feel like a Thursday. It does not not feel like August. It DOES feel like we have set up camp in the desert. Even so, I suppose (for me anyway) when you aren’t working, days, weeks and months can run together.

School has started in these parts and that means the return of School Zones. All of you driving types should be mindful of where you’re driving and watch out for the kids and the po po. I may or may not have received a ticket for driving too fast or too slow in a school zone in the not-too-distant past. I was NOT pleased. Besides, children should NOT be playing in the street so it wasn’t my fault.

My neurologist sent me a note. The culprit has been apprehended. She said, “There was no clot but looks like one of the valves that helps move the blood back up/towards the heart is not working well. This likely explains the swelling.”

So, it appears I have a faulty valve somewhere. I have emailed her and asked what we do to get ride of it. Stay tuned…

Wheelchair Status - ASSEMBLE (pending status change online).

SSA Case Status - Up from 16% to 17% Complete
Supplemental SSA - 8% Complete

Kankle News - I have a kankle - it used to be my left foot - stay tuned.

Podcast - waiting to meet with my cohosts

Anyhoozle, I hope you all have a GREAT evening!

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 080823

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,

Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums at Turtle Creek.  Today is Tuesday, August 8.

The high today is 103 degrees again - there has to be and end to this soon!

Happy Birthday to:

Mark Roberts

Perry Walter

Steve Darby

Good Afternoon/Evening, Possums and Happy Tuesday.  I hope your days has gone well.  Mine has been busy but good.

I received an exciting phone call this morning.  My wheelchair has been APPROVED by insurance.  The next stage is “ASSEMBLY”.  Exciting as this is, we are dealing with insurance so I checked the status online to be sure.  The status online still says “FUNDING”.  When that status changes, I will believe it.  I shall proceed with cautious optimism.

Next up was my trip to the UT Southwestern SPA and Resort for a sonogram of my left leg.  I tell you what…..she got right up in my nether region with a “how do you do” and a “stay still”.

All is all, it was OK except the gel is hot.  It was over in 20 minutes.  I waited so the results could be discussed.  It was determined there is nothing there.  The nurse said, “they don’t let you leave if they find something”.  I still anticipate a not from my neurologist saying that and we will move on to the next test to try and discover why this is happening.  In the meantime, I think I shall start a support group - Kankles Anonymous (KA)…maybe later.  Its too hot!

Good Afternoon/Evening, Possums and Happy Monday.  I’m still running a tad slow today - still fighting the body fatigue from PLEX but it’s all good.

Today has been a busy day.  When I am not employed, I like busy.  This morning I had to pre-clean before the cleaners came at 1pm.  Then cleaners showed up right on time and were done by 2:30pm and it smells like peppermint.  I love that.

I set up my sonogram appointment for tomorrow at 11:30am.  My Neurologist wants one performed on my left leg/foot - my problem leg  / foot - to see what might be causing all the swelling and the ‘evening ankle’ I have been subjected to for the last month.

And finally, I just completed a very, very, very long meeting with my attorney.  It was more ‘Information Gathering and Discovery”.  What it boiled down to was listing of the things I cannot do in this stage of the disease.  These include:  driving, walking, vision issues, tinnitus 24/7 , touching paper or touching anything with a ’current’ or anything that sends / receives a signal.   (You’re wondering how I type and use my computer, phone and remotes aren’t you?  Well, sometimes it feels like my finger tips are burning or stinging and I suck it up and power through - taking breaks as needed.  Other times, I use the eraser on the top of a pencil - hunt and peck).

The final issue on the list is speaking (which is more difficult on some days than others).

Luckily, my sarcasm, delightful sense of humor, witty repartee, sparkling personality, plucky spirit and zest for life are still fully intact. Those are only minimally affected when I have one of those hefty, delicious mood swings brought on by the steroids (I am forced to ingest) as promised by the makers of Prednisone.  But that hardly ever happens.

But seriously, I thinks that is enough.  All of this information will be sent to the folks deciding / managing my case.

Wheelchair Status - “Pending authorization from Insurance” - I’m exhausted!

SSA Case Status - Up from 15% to 16% Complete

Supplemental SSA - 8% Complete

Kankle News - I have a kankle - it used to be my left foot

Podcast - waiting to meet with my cohosts

Possums - MS is not for beginners but if you must have something, catch a cold.  LOL

Anyhoozle, I hope you all have a wonderful day.  What are your plans?
