Good Morning, Possums and happy Friday Eve. The three-day weekend is almost here and so is the month of September. Where did August go?
I am heading out to a Board meeting this afternoon followed by a mixer with potential new Board members. There are about thirty ‘potentials’ attending. That’s great!
GENERAL UPDATE
Still holding steady at my baseline and enjoying my last week of no medical appointments. It has been so nice not seeing any doctors, go to the hospital to be poked and prodded and stuck with needles. No blood has been drawn. My plasma is probably filthy as sin but that will be taken care of next Friday!

Good Morning, Possums and happy Monday. Time to kick off another work week. I would imagine that everyone is working for the three-day (maybe four-day) weekend ahead.
I hope you all enjoyed a nice weekend. Mine was good and productive. On Saturday, I toured a podcast studio that we will be using once (maybe twice) to produce live shows (heard internationally) of our podcast, “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere, Henny”. It’s a great setup. Our show will stream live on all platforms and be available to watch live on Youtube as well. We will be able to take calls from listeners during the show. I will share all of that information the closer we get to the broadcast date.
I am still looking for some part-time, work-from-home work. If you know of anything please let me know.

Still holding steady at my baseline and currently enjoying another week of NO MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS.

HAPPY 64th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY to my mom and dad.
Good Morning, Possums and Happy Hump Day. We made it half way through the week.
It has been a busy few days - mostly on the phone researching my insurance options. My COBRA ends at the end of October so I am looking for insurance my neurologist/UTSW will take.
I only need it for a few months, then I can go on Medicare. You know, that’s not a sentence I ever thought I would type, think or say at this age. HA! But life has dealt me my next hand and these are the cards I have to play and play them I shall - with a gracious and thankful smile on my face and a dirty martini to wash it all down.
GENERAL UPDATE
My status is the same. I’m back at my baseline - holding steady. Also, I am currently enjoying three weeks of NO MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS. It’s a little slice of heaven.

Yesterday was productive. We decluttered my office and did some meal prep - I helped! Viola picked up some prescriptions for me and then we had lunch and started catching up on “The Real Housewives of Dubai”. I feel bad that I have her hooked on it now. OK, I don’t feel that bad. :)
Also, I was on the phone with Social Security for over TWO HOURS yesterday before I finally got an answer. EXHAUSTING!
Not too much going on today. I have PLEX (Plasma Exchange) at 1pm. I am hopeful that it will be uneventful and go by very fast with no issues…and that I get a fun nurse to perform the procedure.
Perhaps afterwards, I might enjoy an adult beverage and catch up with my friends.

Good Morning, Possums and Happy Hump Day! We have made it half way through the week.
Yesterday was quite the busy day for me full of medical appointments and ending in a trip to the Boardroom. It may not seem like a lot to most people, but when you have to get in and out of the car and on and off of examination tables (and stylist chairs) for 5 hours straight and your legs seem to be there only for show that day…….well, it tends to be a bit exhausting.
However, I was reunited with my assistant Viola yesterday. She has been on vacation and yesterday was her first day back. We had a great time catching up. I fended for myself while she was gone (I was on vaycay as well for most of that time and I didn’t want anyone else).
GENERAL UPDATE
I’m going in for some blood work later this morning and then it’s home to make some phone calls and take care of some business.
